    954327 is an examination of the relationship between humans and online chat forums in the context of the modern loneliness epidemic. Social Media and our increased reliance on technology are main beneficiaries of this epidemic. On the other hand, many people flock to social media to find community, to alleviate this loneliness. Sometimes the digital world is their only option. 

    My project aims to visualize that tension.

    I compiled Reddit and Twitter posts in a narrative format. This was fed to Chat-GPT-3.5 as a conversation. I used the amassed messages as a script for the video.

    I act as a host body for both characters. The AI character named Gen-3 is an entity with an AI-voice trained on my speech. My body is distorted through the RunwayML video-to-video function and mechanically forced to speak using the lip sync function.
